AMERICA & RUSSIA IN NUCLEAR DEAL (BIG DEAL) The two countries agree to reduce their respective stockpiles of mutually assured destruction to 'only' 1,550 warheads each. | Visitors to this site, who don't live in Britain, may be surprised to learn that anyone who owns a TV in this benighted country must hand over an annual licence fee (currently £139.50) to the BBC (Bloated Bourgeois Corporation) - whether they watch BBC channels or not! Those who refuse/ fail to pay are fined or imprisoned. Fair or what? It's a quaintly eccentric British idiosyncrasy like the parasitic Royal Family (who should be abolished too).
