of Expression is a Human Right, at least it was last time I checked. The
satirical tradition stretches back to Antiquity. In the West, all of us are in a sense
descendants of a secular European Enlightenment & have been beneficiaries of long
democratic struggle. For these reasons among others, we must not be intimidated by
intolerant followers of an irrational faith, who lack any sense of humour. To threaten
physical violence (beheading etc) in retaliation for a few
drawings is downright criminal. It's taking art criticism too far!
