Now, here, nowhere. This is as HOME as I will ever be. How did I get to this point, where I am today, I mean, sitting in this particular spot, squatting, as it were, in another temporary situation?
With detours & shortcuts, I, the passenger, fellow-traveller, have come by trains & boats & planes, buses, cars, & taxis, even by hovercraft, hitchhiking in lorries, on bicycles & tricycles, & many miles on foot but always in this vehicle my body.
Also, travelling thru time, scenes flashing by, years have passed like countries, decades, whole continents.
