I live the life of a cat on an island of dogs
where cat food isn't to be found
for sale in petshops
& all a poor hounded cat can do
is sit on the mat
& pathetically meow
the only thing that matters
is
the existential now

Our furry feline friend might benefit from the Buddhist nondual teaching of Dzogchen (or Dog zen as the dyslexic & those fond of a pun prefer to call it!)
"Cats yawn because they realize that there's nothing to do."
